We report endoscopic excision of a lymphangioma in an infrequent location, Vater's ampulla, with resolution of the obstructive jaundice caused by this tumor.
An endoscopic papillotomy was performed together with polypectomy of the tumoral mass.
The patient evolved satisfactorily, with jaundice and biochemical cholestasis disappearing.
We believe endoscopic therapy is the ideal treatment for small lymphangiomas in the digestive tract.
