[Hemostasis techniques in transvesical excision of a prostatic adenoma].

A technique for hemostasis in performance of transcystic adenomectomy by means of the four U-like removable catgut ligatures has been suggested. Two hundred and sixty-three transcystic adenomectomies were performed. Early postoperative bleeding was noted in 1 (0.4%) patient, the late one--in 2 ((0.8%). The average duration postoperative hospitalization was 18.8 days.
