Abstract

OBJECTIVES AND METHODS

The curing of several commercial powder/liquid mixtures of acrylic denture base materials was carried out at different temperatures and curing times. The levels of residual monomer, tensile strength, percentage elongation before break and water absorption were measured.

RESULTS AND CONCLUSION

It was found that the level of residual monomer determined by gas-liquid chromatography decreased with curing time and temperature increase. At the same time, the tensile strength was improved and water absorption decreased.

目的与方法

对几种商用丙烯酸义齿基托材料的粉/液混合物在不同温度和固化时间下进行固化。测量残余单体水平、拉伸强度、断裂前伸长率和吸水率。

结果与结论

发现通过气液色谱法测定的残余单体水平随固化时间和温度升高而降低。同时,拉伸强度提高,吸水率降低。
