Pilot experience in the examination and treatment of children with tuberculosis admitted to OT department at St. Petersburg Research Institute of Phthisiopulmonology is evaluated and current features of tuberculous uveitis are characterized. The authors provide recommendations on the research in OT field and check-up of OT patients, on design of new schemes of treatment adjusted for the disease activity, stage and severity.
