[Rhinolithiasis].

This article presents a case of rhinolithiasis in a 16-year old girl, which evolved over a period of 8 years. The symptoms were an obstruction of the right nasal fossa, fetidness, and a chronic infection resulting in atrophic changes. The rhilolith was removed by the anterior approach, without damaging the neighbouring structures. The histopathological examination revealed the presence of an inorganic nucleus (latex). The patient had no memory of having introduced this foreign body.
