Maryknoll Sister Patricia Conroy devoted 20 years to the nursing profession in South Korea. Through her work with the Maryknoll Junior College of Nursing in Busan and with the Korean Nurses Association she was instrumental in changing the traditional, Western-oriented nursing curriculum to a course of study more suited to South Korea's present community health needs.
