PURPOSE
This report evaluates the use of a pedicled buccal fat pad graft for closure of oroantral fistulae.
MATERIALS AND METHODS
Fourteen patients with oroantral communications, ranging from 8 to 20 mm in diameter, were treated by the use of a pedicled buccal fat pad graft.
RESULTS
The procedure was successful in 13 of 14 patients. Postoperatively, the orally exposed fat gradually was transformed into a granulation-like tissue and epithelization developed within 3 weeks.
CONCLUSION
It was concluded that the procedure has wide application and a high degree of success.
目的
本报告评估带蒂颊脂垫移植用于封闭口腔上颌窦瘘的效果。
材料与方法
14例口腔上颌窦相通患者，瘘口直径8至20毫米，采用带蒂颊脂垫移植治疗。
结果
14例患者中13例手术成功。术后，口腔内暴露的脂肪逐渐转化为肉芽样组织，并在3周内实现上皮化。
结论
得出该手术具有广泛应用且成功率高的结论。
