Vietnam, 1978: crisis in food, nutrition, and health.

Evidence of shortages of food, medical equipment, and supplies and indications of malnutrition were observed by an American Study Mission to Vietnam in the summer of 1978. Recommendations of humanitarian aid were made by the study team and presented as promoting peace and stability in Southeast Asia.
