Abstract
Blood leucocytes in 4-week-old and 5-7-month-old White Leghorn cockerels show a diurnal rhythm. This diurnal rhythm has been observed to vary with age. The variations observed may be due to the different hormonal status of the two groups of birds. The effects of drugs at different phases of the diurnal rhythm will be of great interest in medical practice and should be considered during clinical treatment.

4周龄和5至7月龄的白来航公鸡血液白细胞呈现昼夜节律。已观察到这种昼夜节律随年龄而变化。观察到的这些变化可能归因于两组鸡不同的激素状态。昼夜节律不同阶段药物的作用在医学实践中会非常有趣，并且在临床治疗期间应予以考虑。
