A case of patient with flexor digitorum profundus tenodesis at the site of metaphyseal fracture of the radius is presented. The open fracture occurred when the patient was 11 years old and was treated elsewhere with plaster of paris. Progressive flexion contracture of the middle, ring and little finger was treated surgically 7 years later. Full extension and good hand function has been achieved.
