Studies conducted during treatment of 142 children with developmental anomalies of the fingers and hand are analysed. Operations were carried out on 118 (83.1%) patients (174 operations). Before treatment and in study of the late-term results in postoperative follow-up periods of 3 to 10 years the following methods were used: rheovasography, thermometry, analysis of tactile and pain sense, anthropometric and cosmetic indices. The results were found to be good (70%) and satisfactory (27.5%). The investigations made it possible to draw substantiated conclusions on the surgical tactics, the term and choice of the operation, regular medical examination, and rehabilitation.
