Abstract

Injection of muscimol in the caudal ventrolateral medulla increases blood pressure and stimulates neuronal c-fos expression in the rostral ventral medulla (RVM). The blockade of c-fos expression in the RVM by antisense oligonucleotides attenuates the blood pressure response to this muscimol-induced disinhibition of the RVM and also reduces resting blood pressure. The results suggest that cardiovascular neurons in the RVM express c-fos and that the basal and stimulated expression of the c-fos gene is important in the central regulation of blood pressure.

摘要

向尾侧腹外侧延髓注射蝇蕈醇可升高血压,并刺激延髓头端腹内侧区(RVM)的神经元c-fos表达。反义寡核苷酸阻断RVM中的c-fos表达可减弱对这种蝇蕈醇诱导的RVM去抑制作用的血压反应,还可降低静息血压。结果表明,RVM中的心血管神经元表达c-fos,且c-fos基因的基础表达和刺激表达在血压的中枢调节中很重要。
