Abstract
Childhood blood pressure is the single best predictor of adult hypertension, yet children's blood pressures often are unassessed during routine physical examinations. This article discusses pediatric parameters for blood pressure elevation, risk factors affecting blood pressure, and approaches to prevent hypertension.
