The authors reported a case of stomach schwannoma. This observation is original by: it is the first case reported at Centre Hospitalier de Libreville, the absence of a precise preoperative diagnosis, the tumor's extraordinary dimensions, the difference between its rapid evolution and the absence of local malignancy criterious. This observation finally surprise medical staffs by the easiness of surgery and the simplicity of the operative suites. A literature review shows that gastric schwannoma are unusual and their discovery happen either accidentally or following medical complications. The histological prognosis is often difficult. Finally, according to medical researches who find gastric schwannoma, its treatment requires only surgery.
