Abstract

The biochemical changes in the pregnant cervix near term after prostaglandin administration are still not well known. We investigated PGF2 alpha and PGE2 induced changes in collagen concentration in late pregnant rat cervix. The influence of cyclooxygenase and dual cyclo- and 5-lipoxygenase inhibitors on collagen concentration in late pregnant rat cervix was also evaluated. Total collagen and its soluble fraction were measured in a population of 58 pregnant rats; treated with PGF2 alpha (n = 16), PGE2 (n = 11), Diclofenac (cyclooxygenase inhibitor) (n = 11), BW 755C (dual inhibitor of cyclooxygenase and lipoxygenase) (n = 7) and controls (n = 13). The results of the study suggest that cervical collagen concentration is controlled at least in part by prostaglandins and leukotrienes.

临近足月时给予前列腺素后,妊娠子宫颈的生化变化仍不为人所知。我们研究了前列腺素F2α(PGF2α)和前列腺素E2(PGE2)诱导的妊娠晚期大鼠子宫颈胶原浓度变化。还评估了环氧化酶和环氧化酶与5-脂氧合酶双重抑制剂对妊娠晚期大鼠子宫颈胶原浓度的影响。在58只妊娠大鼠中测量了总胶原蛋白及其可溶性部分;分别用PGF2α(n = 16)、PGE2(n = 11)、双氯芬酸(环氧化酶抑制剂)(n = 11)、BW 755C(环氧化酶和脂氧合酶双重抑制剂)(n = 7)进行处理,另有13只作为对照。研究结果表明,子宫颈胶原浓度至少部分受前列腺素和白三烯的调控。
