Trauma has significantly impacted our operating rooms with increases in care costs, staffing, and procedural needs. This article presents an interview with a frontline player in perioperative trauma, a night perioperative care coordinator. The coordinator provides a look into what it is like to plan, coordinate, and give perioperative trauma care on the night shift of a level I trauma center.
