Clear communication between the dentist and laboratory technician is important for the production of quality work and the saving of valuable chair time at delivery. This article discusses the laboratory procedures used in the fabrication of occlusal bite plane splint. Traditional heat curing, microwave heat processing, and visible light curing techniques are discussed.
