A prospective study was done on 76 patients who underwent surgical correction by corporeal plication of the penile deformity secondary to Peyronie's disease. Nocturnal penile tumescence and rigidity were recorded by RigiScan during three consecutive nights, before and after the operation. A significant number of patients developed erections of better quality especially at the tip, after this corporeal plication procedure. These data indicate that corporeal plication does significantly enhance the quality of erectile episodes, by increasing penile rigidity.
对76例因佩罗尼氏病继发阴茎畸形而接受阴茎体折叠手术矫正的患者进行了一项前瞻性研究。在手术前后连续三个晚上，通过RigiScan记录夜间阴茎勃起和硬度。在进行这种阴茎体折叠手术后，相当多的患者勃起质量得到改善，尤其是阴茎顶端。这些数据表明，阴茎体折叠通过增加阴茎硬度，确实显著提高了勃起的质量。
