[Working with families in the long-term treatment of schizophrenic disorders].

The authors present and discuss, within a systems frame of reference, the main aspects of family interventions with adults affected by long-term schizophrenic disorders involved in psychosocial rehabilitation. Special attention is paid to mutual influence between the interventions aimed at individual disability and those centered on family attitudes, beliefs and interactional patterns.
