[Presence of salmonellae, E. coli and their homologous phages in the seawater].

Comparative experiments were carried out on samples of sea water at different degrees of natural pollution. The aim of such experiments was the quantitative estimation of coliforms and salmonellae and their respective phages. The results obtained show that it is thus possible to get better informations regarding the nature and degree of water pollution, than these obtained by the E. coli count alone.
