Abstract
The case of a 62 year old female with a leiomyosarcoma of the upper oesophagus is described. A pharyngolaryngo-oesophagectomy was performed for adequate excision of the tumour. Included is a discussion on the management of leiomyosarcoma of the upper aerodigestive tract.
