[Cytosine arabinoside in the treatment of varicella in lymphoblastic leukemia or lymphosarcoma (author's transl)].

Nine children with acute lymphoblastic leukemia or lymphosarcoma adquired varicella and were treated with cytosine arabinoside. There was a progression of the varicellous lesions which in some cases became hemorrhagic. In four occasions disease became disseminated. Two children died. The hematologic toxicity was tolerable.
