This report presents the results of a quality control study performed in Belgium on 226 conventional X-ray units collected between 1989-1993 and analyses the dose rates at the image intensifier inlet of 217 X-ray units. These X-ray units are located in public hospitals, private radiological installations clinics, and polyclinics.
