Abstract
The clinical symptoms and signs of the growth hormone deficiency syndrome in adults as well as the results of growth hormone replacement therapy are summarized. It is concluded that growth hormone deficiency in adult life is associated with a variety of clinical symptoms and signs--all of which can be partially or totally alleviated by growth hormone replacement therapy.
