Abstract
In both the treatment and prevention of implant extrusion, exacting surgical technique is necessary. The techniques involved are direct reimplantation of the implant, reinforcement of the tissue with patching and, for additional cosmetic revision, subperiosteal glass bead implantation or fornix reconstruction.
