EPSDT model training program.

The National Association of School Nurses plans to present an Early Periodic Screening, Diagnosis and Treatment (EPSDT) model training program for school nurses at the NASN Annual Conference in Orlando, Florida on June 29, 1994. This program is designed to provide school nurses with essential information concerning the development and implementation of the EPSDT program for Medicaid-eligible students in their schools. It capitalizes on the central role of school nurses as the primary health professionals, health care initiators and health care coordinators of EPSDT program implementation.
