[Reconstruction of the upper eyelid (author's transl)].

An excellent rebuilding after complete or nearly complete loss of the upper eyelid can be performed by the following technique: Replacement of lid margin, tarsus and conjunctiva by two free grafts from the right and left lower lid, while the skin-muscle-layer is replaced by a pedicle skin graft.
