Abstract
We describe a patient who developed erythema nodosum, hepatic granulomas and clinical and arteriographic manifestations of Takayasu's arteritis after inoculation with plasma-derived hepatitis B vaccine. We discuss the possibility that hepatitis B surface antigen triggered a vasculitic process in this patient.
