Non sedating antihistamines.

The development of the newer, non sedating antihistamines represents a real advance in the management of the allergic patient. More recently, rare reports of serious adverse events with two of these agents have been published. Providing the warnings and recommendations are adhered to, these drugs remain effective and safe agents.
