The load capacity of complete upper dentures objectively proved greater than that of lower dentures. 2. The load capacity and, consequently, the stability of position of the lateral area of upper dentures objectively diminished with advancing time of wearing, but increased in the lower jaw. 3. The stability of complete dentures is not determined exclusively by the quality of the denture bearing tissue. 4. The measured stability of position of complete dentures did not correspond with the subjective impression of full function; in general, this was stated to be as good as ever by all patients.

全口义齿的负载能力经客观证明大于下颌义齿。2. 随着佩戴时间的延长，全口义齿上颌侧面区域的负载能力以及位置稳定性客观上降低，但在下颌则增加。3. 全口义齿的稳定性并非仅由义齿承托组织的质量决定。4. 全口义齿测量得到的位置稳定性与主观的全功能印象不相符；总体而言，所有患者均表示主观感受一如既往良好。
