[Reconstruction of eyebrows by superficial temporal artery island flap (clinical analysis of 34 cases)].

The authors used the superficial temporal artery island flap in 34 cases for the reconstruction of the defective eyebrows and obtained good results. The present article introduces the operation technic and the following problems were discussed in detail: how to keep the grafted island flap survive; how to maintain the configuration of the reconstructed eyebrows; the principles of the operation designs.
