76 patients with distal hypospadias were operated on with this technique. The technique is first shortly described. A modification of the meatal reconstruction prevents the uncosmetic flattening of the glans. The overall results were excellent. In 40 cases (23 adults and 17 adolescents) we were able to judge the appearance and function of their adult penis in a follow-up of at least 5-14 years after the operation. We conclude that the fear of ischemia and retraction or even necrosis, with secondary late chordee, after extensive urethral mobilization is unjustified.
76例远端尿道下裂患者采用该技术进行了手术。现将该技术简要描述如下。尿道口重建的一种改良方法可防止龟头出现不美观的扁平现象。总体效果极佳。在40例患者（23例成人和17例青少年）中，我们在术后至少5至14年的随访中得以判断其成年阴茎的外观和功能。我们得出结论，在广泛游离尿道后，担心出现缺血、退缩甚至坏死以及继发性晚期阴茎下弯是没有道理的。
