[Legal aspects of ambulatory surgery].

Ambulatory surgery has to be carried out with the same care as inpatient treatment with regard to the forensic aspects. As Weissauer reported, the specific forensic risk of ambulatory surgery consists in the fact that it's typical medical risks will be easily underestimated. Ambulatory surgery makes great demands on preparation, plan and performance of operation as well as on postoperative care and patient information and medical advice.
