[Immunofluorescence study of fixed antibodies in experimental allergic polyneuritis].

Determination of globulins in the peripheral nervous system in rabbits with experimental allergic polyneuritis (EAP) was carried out by Coonbs' method with fixation of complement according to Shepherd. Fixation of immunoglobulins in the myelin coats of sensitive ganglions before the appearance of neurologic symptoms of EAP was shown. In the same departments of the peripheral nervous system and at the same time periods there was observed accumulation of immunocompetent cells, which testified to the likelyhood of local formation of specific antibodies that produced a pathogenic action.
