[Interprétation of the gonadtropin response after LHRH in adult (author's transl)].

The response to LHRH is never characteristic of a given hypothalamo-hypophysial gonadal axis except in the cases of severe gonadal disturbances, but reflects the functional states which can be observed under various circumstances. The same functional state may be found in different diseases and in contrast one disease can evolve through different functional states with time.
