The variety of the extrauterine pregnancy clinical picture makes even the most experienced clinicians affirm that "the most characteristic symptom of extrauterine pregnancy is the fact that in most cases it has no characteristic symptoms and each case has its specific features." In the author's opinion it is obviously a case of ectopic pregnancy in the ampullar part of the left tube on its way out like a tubal abortion. The still fresh chorionic villi have arroded the peritoneum of the posterior abdominal wall and reached the retroperitoneal surface carrying away the ampule. This localization is an extremely rare phenomenon.
