An 18 1/2 year old skeletally mature male sustained a plastic bowing deformity of the radius and ulna due to entrapment of the forearm around a large, rapidly rotating cylinder. The deformity was corrected by closed reduction under general anesthesia and a good functional result was achieved. This injury, which can occur in young adults as well as children, must receive adequate reduction, either open or closed, in order to restore normal range of motion.
