[Leprosy in the Bible].

"Leprosy" quotations in the Old and New Testament are quite well-known. The problem however exists if biblical "leprosy" is really the Hansen' disease or this name is referred to some other clinical situations. The paper evaluates the various possibilities and a "new" interpretation of the biblical meaning of "leprosy" is proposed.
