The ENB's implementation of the new strategy for research.

This article outlines the ENB's response to the Department of Health document Strategy for Research in Nursing, Midwifery and Health Visiting, published in May 1993, which sought to establish a framework to ensure that research in the nursing profession can make a full contribution to the delivery of high-quality care. The document declared itself to have two main objectives, which were to facilitate research and to enhance the research skills and experience of nurses.
