[Our experience with breast conservation].

In the Cancer Institute Hospital, two kinds of breast conservation have been adopted. Q + Ax is applied for cancers at the upper--outer quadrant and LUART is applied for those at other quadrants. The method, clinical matters, pathological findings and results are discussed together with the LUART of the national BCT group study funded by the Japanese Ministry of Welfare.
