This article was to obtain the normal values of H reflex and verify its reliability. The normal values for the H reflex were obtained from 103 healthy subjects. Statistical analysis was performed using stepwise regression. If the practical time interval H-M in ms was higher 1.8ms than the estimate, this S1 root was considered as abnormality. According to this normal value, we obtained 89% accuracy in 28 S1 roots compression when compared with operative findings. For this group patients, the myelography achieved an accuracy of 86%, the accuracy of CT was 72%. The diagnostic index of this diagnostic method was 176. Our investigation suggests that H reflex latency testing is a valuable tool in helping to diagnosing S1 root entrapment.
本文旨在获取H反射的正常值并验证其可靠性。H反射的正常值取自103名健康受试者。采用逐步回归进行统计分析。如果实际的时间间隔H-M(以毫秒为单位)比估计值高1.8毫秒,则认为该S1神经根异常。根据这一正常值,与手术结果相比,在28例S1神经根受压病例中我们获得了89%的准确率。对于该组患者,脊髓造影的准确率为86%,CT的准确率为72%。该诊断方法的诊断指数为176。我们的研究表明,H反射潜伏期测试是有助于诊断S1神经根卡压的一项有价值的工具。
