Pharyngocele is a lateral pharyngeal wall herniation located in the pyriform recess or at the vallecula. It is a rare condition and the patient complains of dysphagia, lateral cervical mass which increases in size with the Valsalva maneuver, and other symptoms of the upper digestive way. The elective diagnostic study is pharyngoesophageal swallow. We present the case report of a patient who had acute respiratory failure due to supraglottic mass occupation. The explorations are discussed and the case report is compared with those few reported in the literature.
咽膨出是一种位于梨状窝或会厌谷的咽侧壁疝。这是一种罕见的病症，患者会出现吞咽困难、在瓦尔萨尔瓦动作时增大的颈部外侧肿块以及上消化道的其他症状。选择性诊断检查是咽食管吞咽造影。我们报告一例因声门上肿物占位导致急性呼吸衰竭的患者。对各项检查进行了讨论，并将该病例报告与文献中少数已报道的病例进行了比较。
