The aim of the study was to evaluate of Nd:YAG laser gonioplasty performed together with iridectomy in the patients with primary chronic closed angle glaucoma. The results were compared with those achieved in patients with the same disease in whom only Nd:YAG laser iridectomy was done. In the first group normalization of the intraocular pressure was achieved in 64% and in the second only in 29% of the eyes. The best results were observed in cases with duration of the glaucoma less than 2 years and with intraocular pressure before treatment lower than 38 mmHg.
本研究的目的是评估钕钇铝石榴石激光前房角成形术联合虹膜切除术治疗原发性慢性闭角型青光眼患者的效果。将结果与仅接受钕钇铝石榴石激光虹膜切除术的同疾病患者的结果进行比较。第一组中64%的患眼眼压恢复正常，而第二组中只有29%的患眼眼压恢复正常。青光眼病程小于2年且治疗前眼压低于38 mmHg的患者效果最佳。
