Three difficult orthopaedic infections, infected non-union, MRSA infection and postoperative infection after joint replacement are presented. The Papineau method and continuous irrigation method are useful for infected nonunion. The choice of antibiotics for MRSA infection is described. The present state and treatment for post-operative infection after joint replacement are discussed.
