[Retained copper needles for the treatment of cavernous hemangioma].

8 cases of huge cavernous hemangioma (3 in hand, 2 in lip and buccal region, 1 in perineum and buttock and 2 in frontal region) were treated by retaining copper needles which were inserted into the blood-filled spaces and feeders with satisfactory results. Preparation of copper needles, the technique of insertion of needles, duration of treatment, local and systemic reactions after the treatment are described.
