Results and experience of 38 applications of the small AO/ASIF external fixator in cats are reported. Problems, limits with this fixation system and possible further indications are discussed. In this study the external fixator proved to be a helpful supplement of stabilisation methods for treatment of fractures and luxations in cats. The external fixator was well tolerated by the cats in this study.
报告了38例在猫身上应用小型AO/ASIF外固定器的结果和经验。讨论了该固定系统存在的问题、局限性以及可能的进一步适应证。在本研究中，外固定器被证明是治疗猫骨折和脱位的稳定方法的有益补充。本研究中的猫对外固定器耐受性良好。
