Abstract
Two cells of Euglena gracilis Z synchronously grown were reconstructed on a three-dimensional scale model by means of serial section for electron microscopy. One giant mitochondria and several, isolated, variously lobed chloroplasts were present in the cell during all growth phases of the cell cycle.
