In Lineus, the cerebral organs, which are composed of nervous and glandular cells, are surrounded by blood lacunae. However, there is not morphological relation between nervous and glandular cells; the neurosecretory product of some of the nervous cells flows in direction of dorsal ganglions, and the glandular cells are exocrine. The cerebral organs do not constitute neurohemal organs.
