Abstract

Health care executives are coming around to the philosophy that shared values--and shared corporate culture--represent the number one success factor in any merger. In fact, studies have documented merger failures in cases in which corporate culture issues have been ignored. The question is: How can executives--and organizations--overcome the cultural obstacles?
