The neurosecretory A cells of the pars intercerebralis of the viviparous fly Glossina fuscipes fuscipes present important changes during the genital cycle. A slight release of neurosecretory products occurs at the moment of the first ovulation and at the hatching. An important discharge takes place just before the larviposition and the second ovulation.
